Mike & The Mechanics return in 2011 with a new line-up, album and tour.

Joining Mike Rutherford (guitar/bass) are vocalists Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar. New album The Road is due in April on the Arista label. The te band hit the road for a 22-date tour:

May 18: Ipswich Regent Theatre

May 20: Manchester O2 Apollo

May 21: Blackpool Opera House

May 22: Liverpool Empire

May 24: Edinburgh Playhouse

May 25: Glasgow Clyde Auditorium

May 26: Gateshead Sage

May 28: Sheffield City Hall

May 29: Birmingham Symphony Hall

Pretty much the final nail in the coffin for any chances of a Genesis re-union in the near future

Good luck to Mike though, although I don't enjoy his work with the Mechanics as much as some of the other members' solo work, I wish him the best
