I went for Saucer...... as despite Piper being a great album,that captured the spirit of its time, I feel that Saucer was a little ahead of its time and IMHOA set the tone for many of the Floyds later albums,including the 'classics'.

I'm not so sure if being the first is a good argument.

Anyway, I vote saucer. I love both of the albums, but saucer tops it for me. Because of songs like let there be more light, remember a day, set the controls for the heart of the sun and jugband blues!
