I'll never forget the first time I saw these clips of Judas Priest from 1975 on TOGWT. It was probably in the early to mid 80's or so when I saw these for the first time and I thought "WTF IS THAT!?!?" This was NOT the Judas Priest I had known up to this point.

Very cool to go back and see now

Old Grey Whistle Test (and subsequently Whistle Test) were essential viewing for anyone not wanting chart fodder thrust at them. Who can forget the classic performance by John Otway and Wild Willy Barrett in which Otway leapt onto the speaker stack, slipped with his legs either side of it and came crashing down, landing on his soft nether regions?

Every New Year there was a special review and highlights programme. Throughout the late 70s and early 80s our New Year party would stop whilst OGWT was broadcast, then resume after it.

One of my favorite episodes is Hall and Oates doing "She's Gone."

I loved this show, some real classics on here, got the DVD's that are out...

I have never seen it before until I saw it on BBC4 when they played clips from that show. :D
