How did you discover all these great songs?

I heard a lot of these tunes before - many many great classics here , but there's a lot songs I've never heard before...

Do you have all of these songs on 45, LP's or .mp3?

And how did you come to rate all these songs and put them in order - was there a method?

Sorry for so many questions, but I'm sure many others would like to know.

A number of them I do have on 7" vinyl.
A bunch of them I remembered from childhood and eventually had the mp3s of.
And a number of them I was introduced to through last.fm.

The matter in which I ordered them was a mixture of how often I've played them/what sentimental value they have to me.
