This one actually took a lot of time. The tracks were first ordered loosely, then ordered by preference in groups of ten, twenty, and fifty. They are also ordered in terms of relevance to my recent taste, as well as sentimental value. It's a whole lot of the stuff that your parents probably wanted to smack you up for playing too much, or the tunes that you always loved, but were afraid of what your friends would think. :D

Mine's a lot softer than the one posted by Magic a few days ago. I must confess I have a major thing for synth-driven musics, and haven't actually dabbled in hair metal/other metal from the 80s in several years. Comments/other nitpicking is highly welcomed.

(Let's just stay on task.)

Well it's a better list than many of the others I've seen since it has more diversity. Kudos for including the Mary Jane Girls!

I have to admire anyone though who takes up the challenge of finding a couple of hundred good songs from the eighties. For me it would be like pulling teeth.

:D

Thank you. :)

I had an interesting upbringing, to say the least. I was exposed to a lot of interesting music, especially when I was a little bit older and discovered the wonders of the radio. I've always really loved 80s music especially (though recently I have been more inclined to listen to music from the 60s or 70s). So many new and interesting things were emerging and being born during that decade. (Including me.) :D
