The Guess Who were always one of my favorite bands. Now I own all their records and CDs from when they were kids, and The Deverons (Burton's first recording group). My favorite period is when they discovered their new sound ("Share The Land"), had a field day with it ("So Long Bannatyne"), got messed up on drugs ("Rockin', "Live At The Paramount"), got fed up being pop stars ("Artificial Paradise"), did I mention many drugs? ("#10", "Road Food") and with Domenic Troiano ("Flavours" and "Power In The Music"). The music by the ersatz Guess Who doesn't interest me, though. These guys have some just killer album tracks on all their LPs, that only the most fervent fan will know about."

I have all the reissues on the Iconoclassic label, with the previously unreleased bonus tracks. The remix of "Glamour Boy" without strings is a revelation! I kind of see them as four separate groups as the members changed, each with its strengths and weaknesses. Overall, still 10/10 rating from me.
