For me the main focal point of the Damned is 'the Captain' along with Rat Scabies.

The first album is ok and I have the second album Music For Pleasure but have never got around to listening to it.

I like Captain Sensible's solo hit single Happy Talk which is a bit quirky.

One of the most violent gigs i have attended , Nottingham University 1977...but it was all worth it to drool over Gaye Advert with low slung bass and Alice Cooper eyes- The Adverts were the support act.. Rat Scabies beat the kit to death that night...him and Jerry Nolan could work a kit!
