Good call Lou, love that album, still sells now.

ANother come back album for this band was a success, I worked in a record shop at the time and it sold bucket loads and I purchased it too and that album was.............

Pink Floyd The Division Bell... a gap of 7 years and was their last studio album

I really like that album a lot myself Sweaty, it's a damned shame they didn't do another studio album but after the support tour I guess Rick's health must have started to fail. I wonder if David and Nick waited for Rick to get better and when he passed away so did Pink Floyd.

Nice to see you again Cinder...I have gotten used to Hotel California over the years and like it more now than when it came out. But I will always enjoy their earlier material the most, for the same reason you do it brings back great memories.;)

Division Bell is my favourite post-Wall album personally.

Both were better than the depressing Final Cut in my opinion. :heheh:

The Moody Blues - Octave
Not their best album, but it was good to see them recording again after so many years.

I thought Cycles by The Doobie Brothers was pretty good, especially The Doctor. It was released in 1989,nine years after One Step Closer and it is much better than that album.
They have been spreading their albums out. They had Brotherhood in 1991 then Sibling Rivalry in 2000 and World Gone Crazy in 2010.

Budgie's 2006 release You're All Living in Cuckooland. A gap of 24 years with Deliver Us from Evil from 1982. Not a very good album though.

Whenever I think of Octave "Stepping in a Slide Zone" pops into my head Jake.:D

I like that record, sure it's not among their classics but it's not the first time I enjoyed something so called experts thought was rubbish.

I want to get it on vinyl eventually, right now I have the CD which is good too.
