Check out The Mark-Almond Band. While I don't think they were a part of the Canterbury Scene, it had an influence on them in the 70s. Their music was mostly jazz fusion and often had elements of folk, blues, and pop. Most of their fans seem to like the earlier stuff from their debut album, Mark-Almond. However, I prefer the later records like To The Heart, Other People's Rooms, and Tuesday In New York even more.

Old thread...Canterbury style prog is one of my favorite areas....new band called Zopp in the tradition of EGG, Hatfield, Nat Health etc...they have 2 lps... this is the first.
