^^^ No kidding...I have this video at home of John Tesh interviewing Paul McCartney and he actually told him that when he was a teenager playing keyboards in a band that he thought the lyric was "Talke The Back Right Tire"

The look on Paul's face....:oyea:

Paul, after a slight pause said, "Yeah, that wasn't it" :heheh:

DERP!!!! :bonk:

Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart used to tell a story about what inspired them to write "Last Train To Clarksville". They were listening to the radio and heard the fade out to "Paperback Writer". They thought The Beatles were singing "Last Train to..." something they couldn't make out. Later, when they heard the whole song, they realized it had nothing at all to do with trains. They figured since The Beatles hadn't written a song about trains, it would be O.K. for them to, and "Last Train To Clarksville" was born.

"Magical Mystery Tour" is coming out on DVD and Blu Ray on October 9th. It's going to be loaded with extras, including deleted scenes, new interviews with Paul and Ringo and director's commentary by Paul. I just pre-ordered the Blu Ray.

I'd never seen it either until about a month ago, finally figured I'd just watch it on YouTube. I'm a huge Beatles fan so I loved it but in all actuality it is probably a pretty stupid movie.
