From my understanding they had to do this for legal reasons.

They originally called themselves The Angels. To avoid confusion and probably legal reasons they used Angel City and The Angels From Angel City. The only band I can think of was Angel, who were active when these guys came out.

Another band I never heard of....one thinks they are knowledgable about bands and then names pop up and I'm amazed at how many there were.

The same dude introduced me to this band and Red Rider in the late 80's.

New album on first listen has some good songs and some others that felt flat. The country vibes bring down some of the songs.
