Re: Testament

Maybe I missed this in the thread but can you list their live albums? I am trying to remember which one it was I was promoting non-stop on the radio one year.

Here's their live albums, Aeroplane.

Live at Eindhoven (1987)

Return to the Apocalyptic City (1993)

Live at the Fillmore (1995)

Live in London (2005)

Live at Eindhoven '87 (2009)

Thanks, man. It was that 2005 London record. Just ran a Google Image search for it as well and that is precisely the album I was promoting. I remember it being pretty good.

Re: Testament

The only album I remember playing quite a bit was Souls of Black. I liked just about everything on it.

Seven Days of May and Absence of Light both always reminded me of what early Metallica would have sounded like had the band been a bit more polished.

And of course the title track:

Re: Testament

My favorite thrash band. Especially since they are one of very few old thrashers who still puts out decent albums.

Oh, and Chuck Billy is one of the most awesome frontmen in all of music.

Re: Testament

One page only for this classic thrash band thread? Damn this is lacking. Anyway the new album will be awesome.
The Dark Roots of Earth I think will be the album title.

Re: Testament

Love me some Testament. Hands-down their best albm was The Gathering. You can tell Dave Lombardo from Slayer is on drums for the album. He has a unique style. One of the greatest metal drummers of all-time.

Best track on the album.

Yep, fan here too & "Down For Life" is a monster tune:cc:
