Taken Dawn is a new metal band that I find may be appreciated more by the CRF crowd than me. They seem to be one of the few new bands that play in the old style without being parody like Steel Panther though they do have a sense of humor. Their first video mocks Kanye West in one scene. While I'm a Kanye fan most if not all of you should delight from that alone. Also these guys do the guitar shredding you all seem to like and have opened for KISS! What's not for you guys to like! Check 'Em Out!

You had me interested at "Makin' fun of Kanye" Sooty...

I like them, they are in my wheelhouse of metal so I'll definitely put them on my list of bands to look for.

I thought they would get you LG! I'm liking them more the more I listen. Actually the least favorite song for me in the bunch is the 1st song which is the single!

I have heard this band on a local head banger station. They use to call themselves "7th Son" I think. They are pretty decent. I haven't had a chance to get the CD yet, but would like to add it to my collection.

I have obtained this album....haven't given it a good listen yet. They put me in mind of a cross between Cinderella and Theory of a Deadman. Heavy but not too heavy. Lots of loud guitars. Rebellious vocals.

Definitely a new band with a classic old metal feel.

I have the album now and have been listening! Sounds good so far!

They actually have a real cool cover of one of my top 5 favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, The Chain! It's like if Alice In Chains covered it! Really cool!
