Who was the "Big Nasty Red Head" he was driving with (although she was neither "big" nor "nasty" in MY book!) in the video? Actress? Girlfriend? Name and provenance for answers.

Who was "The Bum"?

Were those really LAPD Motor officers?

Enquiring minds lay awake for hours thinking about this (stuff) and it's driving me crazier that I usually am!

I didn't have a clue on any of it, never even heard the song before never mind seen the vid. I wondered if the woman was Molly Ringwald, so looked it up and y'up Lynch is right the woman isn't anyone famous, just a regular model/actress hired for the video.

Don't recognise her, though I never knew if Randy Newman meant this and he loves it, or whether it's just satire. I know LA is the only place I've ever been where a person can be seen flipping someone off with one hand, talking on a cell phone, reading the newspaper, and drinking a latte, all while doing 90 in the right lane of the thruway!!! ***:
