Alright, "Rock Bottom" is gone, and our winner - "Black Diamond"!!!

Great song, although I like modern version with Eric Singer's vocals more, than original with Peter.

^ It's quite good but definitely not good enough to be in 1st place. Probably not even in the Top 10-20, ya know? Oh well. Sometimes when certain things get STRIPPED they don't always turn out right & can often offend people...lol

I think it's easily at least a top 10 song. I'm happy with it being number one. The live version from Alive is by far the best one I've ever heard but some college band in the 90s did a pretty cool cover.

The intro is too long, but I love Rock Bottom, but Black Diamond is very good too. Both were worthy of winning. I'd have went with Rock Bottom myself.
I remember playing the studio intro over and over. I adored the part where the 12 string kicked in and really the whole feel of it. Quite simple now that I know what he was doing but like the melodic lead in Detroit Rock City there is something in that intro that strikes me on a primal level.
