I think of them as heavy metal and I have never, ever liked heavy metal. I don't even like Christian heavy metal.

AC/DC are defiinitely not heavy metal but they are heavy rock and there is a difference.

I don't call AC/DC anything other than 'hard rock'. Back in the early 80's, I would have referred to them as metal but I didn't think of them in that light for very long.
