Steve Perry is NOT rejoining Journey

Rumours about singer Steve Perry rejoining Journey are untrue, RockAAA can confirm, and in fact, Perry has retired from performing.

The false story is believed to have surfaced after the Daily Star misused a quote from guitarist Neal Schon, who recently said: "He's no longer the lead singer-"he walked out." A spokesman for the singer says: "It's just not true. The story came from London, the home of tabloids, they make up stories every day. Steve is enjoying his retirement." Reunion rumours last surfaced in 2007, to which he said: "I want to go on record as saying I have no such plans whatsoever." What you have heard is a rumour "I'm sorry for any disappointment."
