Alvin Lee and Company, A Space In Time is a fantastic record, although MP's poll will be a Zeppelin love fest as usual.

The reason these polls are so useful is that with almost every one of them you get to hear some great stuff that you once loved, but over the course of your life you forgot all about, or it just disappeared off your radar...though it has to be said, also some stuff that you once hated, and you still hate!

I voted for James Gang.... narrowly, over Creedence...Joe Walsh v John Fogerty is a truly titanic battle.

^^It's not that I hate "Stairway..." but Zeppelin did so many other really good songs I get tired of this one winning. Goes back to growing up during the golden age of FM radio, every year all the AM and FM stations had their New Year's contest and it was either "Hey Jude" or "Stairway to Heaven" that won,,,for years it was the same result.

I do play IV and I enjoy the whole album but there was a period of over 10 years I never wanted to hear Stairway again.
