O.K., thread polished and refurbished! I'd only heard about these guys recently because of the Led Zeppelin song stealing allegation. Now I have a better idea of who they are after I checked out the s/t debut:

Cool weird cover and it fits as this is one of the weirder bands I've heard. I liked them at their weirdest though actually and the song I got into the most was:

Girl In Your Eye
(This is a weird trippy sitar tune with a cool solo)

Spirit were one of a kind. One of my pa's favorite groups.

An all time favorite band for me.....highly underrated imo....though they did have several radio 'hits' back in the late 60's. 'I Got A LIne on You' and '1984' had radio play nationally.
12 Dreams of Dr Sardonicus should be in everyones collection...a wonderfully strange psych rock lp.
