You do know that Sonny continued in the first part of Cher's career as a songwriter and he was one of her early producers..........They always had a close relationship. I never could figure out why they split....except Sonny had a thing for "young chix"

Yes Magic.. I know they were a great team as far as work went..And for the young chix.. Lots of men would admit to liking young girls.. But women like young boys too.. We all have a thing for Boy or Girl toy's..

His wife at the time, which I believe was his 4th wife, is a strange person. Cher balked at the gravestone issue, and Mary Bono (a scientologist) had things done her way. case closed!

I thought he deserved better than the small grave marker, too.

Not only does Cher (age 65) have a new boyfriend, Ron Zimmerman (from the Howard Stern Show, and a Marvel Comics writer), but she is getting ready to release a new album. This will be her 26th studio album and her first in 10 years.

She said fans shouldn’t expect the same dance music heard on her 1998 album, Believe.
'It really won’t be Believe-ish,' she said recently.
'It will be more…I don’t know how to say it. I can’t put a genre to it. It’s a little bit more real instruments, like guitars and stuff like that.'

Interestingly, mere days after Sonny & Cher finalized their divorce, Cher married Gregg Allman on 06/30/75. Altho Cher filed for divorce from Gregg Allman 9 days later, they remained married until 1979.
