I was perusing the list of inductees into the songwriters hall of fame when I glanced upon Jon Bon Jovi's name.Ya think he realy belongs there.I harbor more than a little doubt here.........

Like him or not, there is no doubt he knows how to write a hit song.

I think he deserves to be in.

I'd go with this. It seems there is more credibility for writing that rebels against something or writing that's contained for a certain fanbase. Writing hits especially through multiple decades is a very great talent. It means you write the words or melodies that reach people. As far as JBJ, he's been able to write for multiple styles and genres and should have at least one song that appeals to each listener.
