do you have any songs that you believe need a wider audience because they are simply more or less unknown?
songs that you feel are fantastic, and that other people will really enjoy?

limited to TWO songs only.

my two are bands from nz. they were very popular there but unknown to the rest of the world.
this band is from the 70s i think. they are fronted by dave dobbyn who is a genuine god in nz. he's really successful and has been for decades now.
this song would be in my top 5 best songs of all-time. i love it and couldn't be without it.

Th' Dudes - 'Be Mine Tonight

this is 'heavenly pop hit', and thats just what it is. it is incredibly catchy, even after only one listen.

The Chills - Heavenly Pop Hit

Only two songs BP? I could easily list 1000, but I'll play by the rules.

1. This whole album is underrated, but the song I enjoy the most is:

The Outfield - Better than Nothing

2. The album cover of this 70's shock rock band's 1972 album USA scares some people away, but they were just making a political statement.

Bloodrock - Rock and Roll Candy Man

HOWEVER!!
there is nothing in the rules that say you cannot make another post!

So only two songs per post. Got it.

In honor of the recently deceased Robert Nix, here are two songs off of Atlanta Rhythm Section's unappreciated (by the media) first album.

Atlanta Rhythm Section - Another Man's Woman

Atlanta Rhythm Section - Love Me Just A Little (Sometime)

Mark-Almond should be well-liked around here by most but I feel like no one knows who they are.

Starship Trooper by Yes

Yes are well known amongst the classic rock community but pretty much unknown to others. This is a shame, because while they were indeed very experimental and progressive IMO their songs could be enjoyed by anyone. Especially this song which embodies everything Yes is, I think.

Am I Evil? by Diamond Head

I don't actually know how well known they are. They influenced countless metal bands after them especially Metallica. Metallica's cover of this song arguably turned many of their fans onto Diamond Head. The band itself never quite hit it big, although today it's considered a seminal NWOBHM band. The song is lyrically very dark and the structure changes constantly during the song with thundering epic riffs after riffs. Metallica called this song the heaviest song ever recorded.
