It looks good.

Here's some more

Ozzy's vocal are a little off but I think that is because it is audience recorded.

Videos are okay but you are right Ozzy's vocals sound off...I hope it's the recording and not his voice.

Yeah, nice find/vids, but his voice is way beyond bad, you can't blame the recording, there's maybe half a dozen notes in the entire 4 songs here that he's singing anywhere near in tune, it's frankly embarrassing, the guy can't sing any longer, and I mean that literally. If this is any evidence, then this whole tour is just a TERRIBLE idea and is going to be remembered as a band in terminal decline making fools of themselves. These were shot in Australia last week, they'd only done about 4 shows up to that point, so what his 'voice' is going to sound like by the time they get to the end of the tour in December, well, just use your imagination. Bloody awful, and anyone who says otherwise has Vincent van Gogh's ear for music.

Sabbath must sound a lot better live than those videos posted...I do think Ozzy's voice is the worry no different than David Lee Roth in Van Halen who can't pull off the old songs the way he used to.

Have any of the Australian critics review's been good?

But he's miles off key, and flat, and so far out of tune, throughout. OK I'm no audio expert, but I don't see how a guy in the audience recording it on his camera can make it sound so out of tune, but in actual fact he was IN tune, if that's the theory? How does even a cheap microphone alter the actual tuning/pitch in the voice set against the accompanying instrumental backing?....the guitars are clearly playing in one key, and Ozzy is flat and singing in another. There's going to be plenty more of this stuff appearing on YouTube as the tour goes on, so I'll be interested to hear if anyone manages to come up with any footage where he's actually singing in tune, because if it all sounds like these clips, then it's actually worse than those early rounds of American Idol where the amateur performers are so bad that everyone watching is performing a quick ROFLMAO routine in front of their TV's...and I say 'worse' because unlike 'Idol', the people in the audience at the Sabs shows are presumably paying a shit load of cash for actual tickets to hear a rock legend. I suppose it's just possible with all his issues that he was just having a really bad night, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now until I hear/see some more footage, but if not then this whole world tour is destined to be a total train wreck musically.

Ozzy's vocals have been crap since the late 90's. If anyone is expecting this show to SOUND good, they might be sadly disappointed. I think going to see Sabbath in concert is more about seeing a piece of history and remembering what they were originally famous for more so than seeing the best show around. Ozzy is REALLY flat in his live singing and has been for years.

The stage show in the NIB vid looks pretty cool. Haven't watched the others yet.

I listened to NIB again...and after reading TS's dissertation have to agree Ozzy sounds flat and lifeless.

Granted the mobile used to record the concert isn't top drawer and the live show must be better if for no other reason the music would be in full force but as soon as Ozzy croaks the lyrics I'm utterly disappointed.

How on earth could they have got to this point if they knew how bad his singing is now? :nw:

Lynch is right, this is about seeing Sabbath one last time more than holding them to the same standards of the band at it's peak decades ago.

I feel bad for folks that spent large sums of money to get tickets.

No expert on using it, and am against it usually but I almost think Sabbath should use Autotune to help Ozzy out...and don't hide it come out and tell the fans we are trying to give the best concert possible period using any means necessary. Just a thought :peek

So true.

I'll be on one of their shows, by the end of this year, but i know maybe it wont be the best thing, mainly because the state of Ozzy's voice. It's more like achieving that old dream from my youth, anyway.

Btw, who's the drummer on the videos? Is this the ratm guy, or ozzy's?
