Those Disney versions of songs are weird. lol

Anyway I listened to some World Painted Blood on MP3. Nice to listen to some albums after a long time to get a measure of how I like it this time around. It doesn't to me fall in the same league as the albums up to Seasons but it is a damn fine modern thrash album. Has some of its own raw brutal songs in it.
Unit 731 is a song I would have in a top 10 Slayer song list.

Playing With Dolls is another song I dug on this album the most.

I hope the new Slayer album has a bit better production though.

I've been getting into Slayer lately, just bought the Show no Mercy album, I think it's the most ballsy metal album I've heard!

Indeed and it is in my opinion an underrated Slayer album. Haven't listened to it for a long time.

Slayer regained form when Lombardo returned to the band in my opinion.

Reign in Blood is of course their best album but World Painted Blood is highly underrated.

I agree on World Painted Blood but I guess regarding the best album there is plenty of diverse opinions on that. I prefer the rawness of Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits as good as Reign is. South of Heaven is a great slower paced album too.
Speaking of Hell Awaits I love the song Kill Again.
