Yeah Cemetery is a good one. Their masterpieces are their first two albums to me. Rest are balls. lol

I'd have to agree the first two are awesome and the last two are easily forgettable. I've never heard anyone call a bad album "balls", but you did make me giggle.

Frogstomp is such a great album. Suicidal Dream is probably my favorite Silverchair song. I know it word for word, lol. There were some good songs on Freak Show too, like Cemetery. I have no idea why this band ever changed.

That's exactly what I asked myself when I listened to Jake Bugg's more recent material...
There are such popular examples of bands that never change and remain beloved, like the Stones or ACDC.
Silverchair's last great album was Neon Ballroom, then they quit making rock music.

I even dared to youtube Daniel John's 2015 solo album. WTF is that??? He went full R&B, you never go full R&B. Especially as an Australian.
