Maybe after SD forum closes, people will be more apt to start shit in private messages rather than on the forum where everyone else can get involved.

Less drama. More music.

I don't believe in PM wars .. In the past on this forum, several posters were a menace PMing ...

Just place the trolls on ignore .. I do and move on .. no need for Febreze ..

If in the future anyone "Menaced" another member via PM's you simply report the PM to us,,,we will then take action. That is the only time we can access the Private Messaging system of the regular members, just keep that in mind if the situation ever comes up.

The member noted for that is long gone from this forum but loved to start PM wars.

My policy is that if someone starts something in public .. it is a public issue and should be settled in public .. I know that the mods do not agree .. I just delete PMs from trolls if they send them before I can place them on ignore.

Whatever works for you Flower, but for instance if someone joined the forum and then started sending spam or invites to another site using the PM system we would appreciate being notified, it has happened before and we depend on the members here to help us with that kind of thing.

I have never put anyone on ignore...not as a moderator/admin for sure, but on every other forum I have been part of I have had no problems with trolls or anyone else that I felt it was necessary to do that.

User groups aren't bad as you get to pick who you converse with so their is no excuse for fighting. If you run a user group you can kick someone out and if they don't like it they can start their own! :heheh: There may be like two users in a group but oh well! :lmao:

I'm laughing ... are all the Bush haters going to be in one group and the Obama haters in another? Will people only invite others with the same views to join? That would not make for a very balanced debate ... :oyea:

It's almostlike starting special threads for people who can't follow the forum rules ..... :bonk:
