Crusader was a really enjoyable listen as well. Packs some killer tunes on there. Was happy I bought that album particularly. The remastered one is all I could find so I am happy with that.

So Riff!! Isn't the title track of Crusader just EPIC??

Ill say. That song was a real stand out for me on an excellent album.
Can't wait to continue my Saxon collecting, it will after Unleash the Beast comes in. :grinthumb

For sure and it gives me an excuse to keep getting CDs while they are still available as a music format. :heheh:

Give us your list of Saxon albums so far Rattlehead.

I think Crusader is a very good record, also showed Saxon stepping into the mythology/historical arena and being able to pull it off in style, as compared to their early "biker" anthems which are also top drawer.

When you get "...Beast", I am sure you will enjoy "Thin Red Line", I LOVE that song. But the whole record just kicks ass.

I got Wheels of Steel, Metalhead and Call To Arms so far.
I look forward to hearing Beast, amazon has sent it now.
