^^There is a "soft patch" as mentioned earlier in this thread, when Saxon made a conscious attempt to follow Boston's and Foreigner's footsteps to break through commercially in the US, which failed miserably. Fortunately they went back to what they do best.

Nolo even stated he still likes those 3 albums, "Destiny...Rock the Nations....Innocence Is No Excuse". I like Innocence the best of the 3 but would have to say they are not "must haves" unless you are a completionist like some of us obsessive compulsive collectors.:heheh:

Completionist is pretty much what I fall in. The album would have to be pretty awful for me not to acquire it. :heheh:

So far I am liking Metalhead as an album.

I loved this entire album start to finish. I dunno if people deem this one of their supposed weaker albums but it wasn't to me. I enjoyed everything musically.

^^I pay no attention to what critics say about Saxon with the exception about that weak attempt at commercial success we already talked about.

Unleash the Beast doesn't get rated as among their best records, but it's my Favorite, I play it more than any of the others.

I'll be curious what you think of "Killing Ground" when you get that one, Sox was impressed when he listened to it the first time after I told him about it.:D

KILLING GROUND is a good listen i've listened to it right through on about 3-4 occasions, i think it's the first studio album that features Doug Scarret on 2nd guitar??.

Got Crusader on order for cheap since online has better prices then the record stores here.
I loved Call To Arms. Ill put down Ballad of the Working Man as my stand out song.
