Slowhand it has to be. I think 'Rust' was that curious album NY made with one side of the LP almost thrash metal, and the other side folksy accoustic, weird. I so hate that racket NY makes when he yanks up that electric guitar of his, it's deliberately distorted and makes my ears hurt, just awful. I only really like NY when he's laid back, he can never make his mind up about his musical identity, he's actually made some ghastly records IMO, and I mean quite a lot of them. Clapton you can rely on to be stunning almost every time he goes into the studio.
