I found these very recent clips on YouTube and thought it was cool that Russian kids are doing what they can to keep rock and roll alive. Putin must hate this...

The Cold War has been replaced with Rock and Roll!!

Here is an interesting video of the younger kids in the first post. They come out on stage and sing a song to background music. The title of the song when translated to English is "The Russian". I know Russia has had its own style of rock and roll for decades, but is probably only popular in Russia. I'm sure this has a meaning, but I don't speak the language and don't live there. It's about time I learned more about Russia and their music...

Here is a bit of a change of pace, but still Russia. I love this video of a Russian father and his son singing in a public place for money I guess. Watch for the ship passing by in the background at around 2:20...

The son goes solo! Apparently this is a very serious Russian song, and this little guy pours his heart and soul into it...

His name is Victor Barbashov, and he's a star! :)

She's really good. I wonder if she is singing: "Putin go away?" :gig

And now here is Daniil Gilev to explain everything we need to know. He is the lead singer of the first band in this thread and could very well replace Putin someday. Take it away Daniil....

Damn right! :cheers2
