More details are emerging about the bonus material included with a new DVD/Blu-ray box focusing on Rush‘s most recent concert films. The band has released a trailer for ‘R40′ (which you can see above), due on Nov. 11, as well as a complete track listing for the disc of extras (which you can see below).
We’ve already told you that the disc includes footage from Rush’s 1974 show at Ontario’s Laura Secord Secondary School, a 1976 concert at Passaic, N.J., as well as performances dating from 1988, 1997, 2011 and the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2013. The Laura Secord date is highlighted by a trio of never-before-released songs: ‘I’ve Been Runnin’,’ ‘The Loser’ and a cover of Larry Williams’ ’Bad Boy.’ The 1997 content, recorded at Toronto’s Molson Amphitheatre, includes a rare run through of all seven segments of ’2112.’
‘R40′ also features the previously released ‘Rush in Rio’ (2003), ‘R30′ (2009), ‘Snakes & Arrows Live’ (2008), ‘Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland‘ (2011) and ‘Clockwork Angels Tour‘ (2013), as well as a 52-page book with photographs from throughout their career.
