One of the true legends of contemporary music, one of the most unique voices you will ever hear. On top of it all he was pure class and a gentleman. I don't think I've ever read a bad thing about Roy Orbison.

What a voice, no effort is needed from Roy, he just opens his mouth and what comes out is timeless...

I know the Beatles backed him on his 1963 tour of England.Always should be on the list of the greatest vocalists.A marvelous gift..........

I was lucky growing up with Roy's music always in the background. Most musical experts agree he had a four-octave range. That's in the opera range. Incredible vocal talent.
