On a reissue of the "Tonight's The Night" single and some Greatest Hits albums, the sweet nothings whispered in French by Britt Ekland were removed by Warner Bros. following the couple's bitter breakup and her lawsuit against Rod. I don't have any greatest hits LPs to know for sure, but I have a Canadian Back-To-Back-Hits single, and it's on there. It was an odd move by the company, and not an act undertaken by Rod himself.

His Storyteller anthology is really good. Really covers his career well and contains some great music. I highly recommend the set. I do have studio albums from his early solo work. Those first few on the Mercury record label are easily my favorites but by the 80’s he was very hit and miss with me. From then forward, I stopped listening to his songs and remain satisfied with his past glory.
Well...the first 2 discs are worth it but the last 2 are for those who like his pop stuff after he decided it was all about the money.
