You all know him, you all have heard his music, and I would bet you all like atleast one song by him.

Roderick Stewart has been around for 6 decades now. And is internationally known. I think he deserves some "forum Lovin".....

Re: Rod Stewart

Just spun me some Rod The Flash yesterday..
Played this classic LP.

And had to play this since Groovy Man told he didn't like Disco..

But God Bless Groovy.. He's one of my tightest forum friends..
I just had to make sure I had a small dose of Rod disco sense I don't like it much either but there are a few exceptions..:D

Re: Rod Stewart

I like Rod Stewart's solo career better than anything else he had done with Faces or Jeff Beck... I don't own any albums, and he isn't my favorite, but a song here and there is great... Maggie May, First Cut Is the Deepest, any of his other hits really :)

Re: Rod Stewart

I like Rockin' Rod okay, I have "Atlantic Crossing", "Night On The Town", and a greatest hits CD, so that covers pretty much everything. I might add Gasoline Alley one of these days.

My favorite song by far is this one.

Love, "Foot Loose And Fancy Free", picked it up for 50p off the market on vinyl and later on CD for £3. I also adore Gasoline Alley and Killing Of Georgie parts 1 and 2. He has a fantastic voice and getting better every day.

He is, I believe he is playing nearby, coins a bit low so not sure, plus going to High Voltage festival in June and that's a must.

Re: Rod Stewart

Aside from my theory that he would be glorious to undress, I do love his music.

I have "Blondes Have More Fun" (and another record I've forgotten the name of, I think?) on vinyl, it's had a few good spins.

My favourite song of his, of all time, would have to be "You're In My Heart (The Final Acclaim)". So amazing.
