R.I.P. SHY GUITARIST STEVE HARRIS:
It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I have been asked to post the following message on behalf of the family and friends of Shy guitarist Steve Harris:

"IT IS WITH GREAT REGRET AND SADNESS THAT WE HAVE TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF OUR BELOVED STEVE HARRIS, GUITARIST AND CREATIVE GENIUS BEHIND SHY. STEVE WAS A VERY PRIVATE MAN AND HAD BATTLED A BRAIN TUMOUR SINCE JUNE 2009 AND ONLY THOSE CLOSEST TO THE FAMILY KNEW. A FULL STATEMENT WILL BE ISSUED SHORTLY, LOVE DEBBIE HARRIS AND SHY"

This might be in bad taste but I'm kind of relieved that I don't know this Steve Harris because if it was the Steve Harris that I thought it was when I read the header then I would have been much more upset.

I had to do some searching to find out who these guys were. I don't remember them at all. Apparently "Shy" used to be known as "Trojan" (don't remmeber that either). They were most known as an 80's hard rock band.

This was one of their first singles:
