Sad news for all involved, although I'll admit, that I am more concerned about Classic Rock magazine than the Team Rock website.

Since the Blues Magazine stopped, Classic Rock magazine has been the only music magazine I've been buying regularly. I hope they find a buyer for that title, because right now there is no print alternative imo.

WTF is going on? The last great rock magazine down the tubes. Like SDM, I also hope that they find a buyer for the magazine. I'm going to miss their informative articles and fair reviews. Man, I'm totally bummed out by this news :(

Thanks for the heads up That '70s Guy. Only just seen this thread. I've been a subscriber for many years. This is a real kick in the balls. Classic Rock Magazine has been absolutely streets ahead of any competitors. I have to say I'm surprised by this after reading the last issue. It had a full report of the Classic Rock Awards which was held in Tokyo and attended by rock royalty. There was also am extensive and revealing interview with Johnny Depp. I was expecting the latest edition to arrive any day. When I tried to log in to the site this was the message -

ADMINISTRATORS APPOINTED – TEAM ROCK LIMITED - 19 DECEMBER 2016

Thomas Campbell MacLennan, Alexander Iain Fraser and Jason Daniel Baker of FRP Advisory LLP were appointed as Joint Administrators of Team Rock Limited (“the Company”) on 19 December 2016. The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Joint Administrators, who act as agents of the Company and without personal liability. The Company is being managed on a care and maintenance basis only whilst a buyer for the assets is sought. Accordingly, the TeamRock website will be unavailable for the foreseeable future. The administrators are assessing the position regarding publication of magazines. If you are a subscriber to the Company’s publications the administrators can be contacted via email at [email protected]

I've seen copies of the latest edition on the shelves. I paid by subscription for it to be delivered but I haven't received a copy, and I'm paid up until March.

You could still get your issues mate!

Here's some good news:

"Now Future – the publisher of Total Film as well as musicians titles Guitarist, Total Guitar and Rhythm and the MusicRadar website – has acquired the magazines, domain names, events, radio license and websites of Classic Rock, Metal Hammer, Prog, The Blues and (Metal Hammer awards show) The Golden Gods."

Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog rescued as former owner Future steps in - Classic Rock

Hopefully Classic Rock and The Blues will be back on the stands soon. Don't care much for the other magazines.

That is indeed good news! I don't by it anymore cos I can't find it,but we do need this type of magazine to help keep the music alive.
