Riot Guitarist Mark Reale Passes Away

Riot guitarist Mark Reale has died at the age of 56.

A founder member of the New York band, Reale has been in a coma for the past two weeks, after suffering a haemorrhage. He was hospitalised recently due to complications brought on by Crohn’s Disease.

This is the third death to affect the band. Original vocalist Guy Speranza passed away in 2003 from cancer, while his replacement Rhett Forrester was murdered in 1994.

Wow that sucks ...they just released a new album this year called Immortal Soul that is very much in the vein of Thundersteel. Best thing they have done in years. Mark's playing on it is outstanding ( as usual ) . HUGE lose
