Re: Early REO
REO never officially broke up. A version with Kevin Cronin, Bruce Hall and sole founding member Neal Doughty continue to tour and record. Their latest studio record was released in 2007.
On a different note, with many bands both showing interest in and also some that have gotten back togehter for "reunion" shows/tours, I've not heard any talk of any of the past members of R.E.O. trying to do that. Personally, I wouldn't be very interested unless Gary Richrath was included. He not only put a lot of himself into that band, but also into his guitar playing and live performances. I was very impressed with him before seeing him in concert, and was even more impressed afterwards.
