Way before Two 7's Clash i was well curious about Reggae Music...unavoidable - such was the melting pot of my childhood streets.

Reggae?. I can take it or leave it although I'm talking about the slightly more commercial stuff by Bob Marley or even Peter Tosh and his protest influenced reggae but the heavy dub stuff I don't bother with.

I noticed back in the 1970s and 1980s women in particular in Britain use to claim that they liked reggae whenever it came on the jukebox and always assumed it was so they could dance to it?.

Here is one 4u Nai Noswad Althea & Donna and Uptown Top Ranking from early 1978 a UK number 1 hit single.

I actually bought a cd worth of Althea & Donna about 2 years ago and quite enjoy listening to it when I fancy a change from playing rock cds most of the time.
