Sabaton, one of the many great Scandinavian metal bands. They're often centered around war and historical battles and they execute it powerfully.
Another great from Scandinavia, and often considered as Viking Metal. They've also had their try in some good acoustic stuff and have done some many decent covers, most notably Boney M's Rasputin. They prefer their solos done on the electric fiddle, more than anything.
