Rate The Song Above You Part III

I had no idea who this bad was/is. No, it's not my kind of music, but I liked the rhythm section. The singing was of a tonal range I prefer, and the solo was atypical of most metal music, though a bit short. Considering my unfamiliarity with the band and non-preference for this style of metal my giving a rating is kind of unethical. In any case, 6/10 is what I decided on.

Thank you for rating, mate. You know later you can try to these much late albums like "Under Jolly Roger" or "Rogues en Vogue", because they was reoriented to pirate style speed power metal, more melodious. Maybe, something from these LPs will be interesting to you. :cheers2

Eternal and untouchable W.A.S.P.'s classic. You know, a few days ago I re-listened the whole album. It's great coincidence! 10/10. :metal:

Now, let's try some from the 70's glam.

I heard Slade for the first time in '72 at a friends house. He was from Britain; I was from Eastern Canada; and we were both living in So Cal at the time. I don't have any studio albums by the band, but I do have a really large compilation. I just love Noddy Holder's vocals.

That said, here's another song for the Rating Commission:

Zappa was one weird dude, in a good way. Have to admit that this song is new to me, and I liked it more than I thought I initially might. Enjoy the 70's vibe, and hard not to grin a bit with the title name. Musicianship always top notch, no surprise there, give it a solid 7/10

Since WASP is on tap recently, let's try a cover, one of the better ones but let's see what someone else thinks..

*No comment on 'Wild CHild'....thought that was the band...lol....dont know Wasp or Battle Beast...I'm not into metal at all...better let someone else comment. ;)

Hard to believe you have not heard that Zappa track....well known to all Zappa and prog rock fans btw
Captain Beefheart on vocals ..Hot Rats is one of the highest rated lps on Prog Archives with 4.35 out of 5...more instrumental than many of his other ones. He was a brilliant musician and guitarist (weird when it comes to standard rock for sure) who influenced many others.
