Eh, nothing piqued my interest or caught my attention about this song. Sounds like generic alt rock to me, sorry. Distorted guitar solo kind of alright, I suppose. 2/10
Hmm, very decent epic-hard-rock decorated with great organ intro (I've heard perceptible influence of Rainbow, Uriah Heep and Sabbath). If sounding were more metal'ish, it would be almost Manowar. I've listened to it with pleasure. 7.5/10.
@Romulus It's good to see you active again! I remember the conversation we had before.
Anyways, I have lingering respect for these power metal baddies, yet don't know much of them. Symphonic! I'm very partial to the fast buildup in the beginning and the vocals do fit well. Steady, but galvanizing... paced, and I get a Maiden vibe, for some odd reason. 7.5/10
In light of their other work, primarily thrash... how peculiar and experimental for a band like Testament (from what I've heard!) Mellow sounding and historical! A peaceful listening. Certain this is some sort of tribute to Chuck? He does have the heritage, I believe. Great choice, Mistral! 9/10
I'm not much for the vocals, but I adore the music... I can hear the influences of classic hard rock and metal bands here... especially Judas Priest. Nice keyboardist involved, as well. Band deserves some more recognition. 7/10
