Randy Newman Clip ????

So this isn't really to drive anyone nuts cause I know what I'm seeing here. I just thought of a clip with Randy Newman from some kind of video...where he's making a comment in regards to somebody or something else. The interview (or short tiny segment) that showed his comments were like in a dressing room. He has his glasses on and there is a girl assistance... helping with makeup. Had to be the early 90's...just taking a chance here...anyone know what video or program this may have come from. I thought of it when I seen him on a recent SNL rerun DVD I was watching.

I found a 2 part (2 Video Clips on Youtube) Interview with Randy Newman that the BBC did in 1989, but the room doesn't seem to fit with your description nor was there anyone helping with makeup - looked like Randy didn't have any makeup for that interview though, but he seems to be talking about other people in the songs he'd been writing including one song which talks about racial issues.
