Long ago when I first started using email, one of the first I sent was to John Wetton via his fan club, or something... it was 1996-or-so.
The B-side to "Heat Of The Moment" (Wetton/Howe) was left off the album, as the powers-that-be favored the Wetton/Downes compositions.
I wrote to tell him how moved I was about hearing such a great song that not many (back then) would ever take seriously, due to it's B-side status.
The song, for some reason, meant so much to me. I asked him to play it, if he ever came to the Buffalo NY area.
Well, when I saw Asia on their first true reunion tour (2006) in Niagara Falls, they played "Ride Easy" after John dedicated it to an unnamed friend.
Now, I'm not naive enough to think for a second that that was directed to me, but it still meant a lot and I will never forget that moment.

Ride Easy did get released on the Japan only EP Aurora with 3 other tracks, and those 4 tracks are on The Very Best of Asia: Heat of the Moment.
A really good track that was probably just a victim of too many tracks (if there is such a thing).
