You know I have 3 different copies of The Wall already and the vinyl album that I bought 30+ years ago is still the best of the lot.

I am so tired of remasters...reminds me of Tide commercials every year they are going on about the "New & Improved" version, making you think the old stuff was rubbish.

Oh well, I would be far more likely to get the DVD myself, I'll check with MP to see if he has that one.

Only do a remaster if its gonna be done properly, if they have to remaster an album several times you really gotta wonder if its worth the effort?
The original mastering is not that frickin bad.

Everything that Lord Grendel and Riff Raff say is true, especially regarding the vinyl, but I'm one of the suckers that's going to get the new remaster anyway. I love this album.

I just have the regular DVD still, the good one with all the extras...5.1, bonus features ect. Still have my original copy of The Wall and as Riff pointed out...it's not bad!! Sounds awesome!!! That is a GREAT promo spot!
