Just got done watching this vid. This is the first time that I have seen it. Great performance from the 2006 Brit Awards in London:

    Three track medley:
    • Te Amo Corazón (from the 3121 album)
    • Purple Rain
    • Let's Go Crazy
I could listen to him play stuff like this all day long. I like the entire stage show, but absolutely LOVE his guitar playing!

This is also pretty cool because he's on stage with Wendy, Lisa and Sheila E for the whole performance.

Prince would be celebrating his 61st birthday this week.

    :rip:

Will definitely be listening to a bunch of Prince in the coming days (starting tonight).

Thanks to a good friend that shared this image with me. Going to share with the rest of you

Just came across a nice long medley of his work or projects that he's worked on --- live from the NAACP Image Awards (2005) - 12 minutes long, hell of a performances from start to finish!

His guitar playing just after to 10:40 mark in the video... TOTALLY reminds me of something you'd hear on a Santana album.

Love this version of Cream. An acoustic set that he did about 15 years ago. There are a number of other songs out there from this set, but Cream make me laugh as well as gives me some happy goosebumps. He plays with the audience a couple of times when they aren't responding the way that he wants.... puts a halt on the song and lets them know he's not pleased (in a joking manner, of course).

    Fun stuff

    Prince - Cream (Acoustic live)

Just saw in the Prince.com store that you can buy a replica of Prince's "cloud guitar". Made by Schecter.

While I think it would be cool to play it, for nostalgia-sake, there are a lot of other guitars that I'd rather sink that amount of money into before this one.

Cool live track of Prince playing some funky bluesish tune. Some pretty cool guitar work throughout the song. Love some of that dirty guitar sound (skip to about the 3:15 mark to hear what I'm talking about), but it's not just there, the whole thing even up to that point is pretty cool to hear.
