Ah.. But there was a method to the madness..

I think it's both sad and good that persons hear about Rival Sons the first time in this poll while there already is a thread about them. As good as Rival Sons may be they are not close yet to Zep.

Number one EF,, Thank you for starting the thread because I absolutely dig Rival Sons.. and as far as comparing them to LZ's Whole Lotta Love.. People you know how this poll was going to end.. BUT did you know the only way to get you to listen to the Rival Sons song was to pull this off.. so you had to listen.. *BOINK*.. Good advertisement.. I knew Zepp would win.. but I also knew some would really like Pressure and Time..

Also.. I'd like to add that if this song is any indication of what Rival sons is going to stay with.. I'm all for it.. I just hope that they don't get bombarded with your sounding just like Led Zeppelin.
I think no bands just want to be another clone of LZ.. That hasn't went over too well with other bands trying to show off original material only to be labeled a clone band..
Jay Buchanan's vocal's to me are right up there.. And this band is a hot item.. I just hope others follow suit and lets get back to that classic blues rock sound for once..

This could be this generations next classic blues rock band..

I agree wholeheartedly, and if it weren't for that section of it Whole Lotta Love would probably be my all time favorite Zep song.
