Just a few observations. The headliners are, of course, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. Also it was sort of amusing to see Pink Floyd half way down the set list. And the cost? - 17 shillings and sixpence. That's 87 and a half pence in current UK currency :gig

Damn...what a lineup!

My observations were Van Der Graff Generator and Status Quo as a couple of the smaller bands playing. I had no idea all these bands ever played together.
Very interesting to see The Marmalade on there. Must've been after their hit song "Reflections Of My Life" came out.

I'm jealous I didn't live back then cause that would've been a great gig to see.

That's a great line up Johnny-Too-Good, how good would it have been to see them top that Festival in May then nip down to Bath in June and catch this one ...

Another terrific line up Sox, and at a bargain price :gig. Fleetwood Mac headlining again. I was a huge fan at that time, and they actually did a gig at a place about half a mile from where I lived....but I was on holiday with my parents :mad. I had to settle with seeing the later version of the band that conquered the world. I was also a big John Mayall fan - -I see he is still gigging at the age of 80!

Would have been Psychedelic pop Quo in 1969. Just before they turned into my favourite band. Some of the UK festivals even through the 80s were unrivalled.

My older sister got to see Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac at Nottingham Boat Club in '69 ... I watched him at Buxton on his first outing with the Splinter Group and later in a double bill with John Mayall, that was Nottingham.
