I've been dead busy the past couple of months and barely had time for any kind of shopping, so I'm behind on quite a few records I wanted to get, but I did mange to pick these up today:
Bruce Springsteen – Western Stars
Wings – Wings Over America (2019 reissue on 3 x 180g audiophile vinyl + Souvenir Tour Poster)
Black Stone Cherry – Folklore And Superstition (Limited edition reissue on gold/black 180 g vinyl including 8 page booklet, Limited Edition of 1500)
So Music On Vinyl is doing a whole reissue campaign for Black Stone Cherry and I couldn't be happier. I own all their albums on CD, but only the last few albums on vinyl. Their debut has never been released on vinyl before and I never came across a copy of Folklore And Superstition (my favourite BSC album) on vinyl until very recently - priced around 100 euros. So yeah, I'm glad I waited and stocked that I got this reissue. I'll give my local dealer a little more time to get the debut, or I'll order it online and hopefully Music On Vinyl will also release Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea and Magic Mountain (also never released on vinyl before) soon.
Phantom Limb – The Pines
Phantom Limb is another record I've owned for years on CD and have been looking for on vinyl. It's not impossible to find on ebay, but I haven't come across a copy at any store until today.
