I was given a copy of the new Rabbit album Defenders of Rock by the guy in charge of the label that put it out here in the US. It's the band that ex-AC/DC singer Dave Evans is a part of.

Dropped by my friend's record shop today while out running some errands. I found a copy of the Kossoff album Back Street Crawler on CD in the bargain rack. Given that it has an outtake track from a Free album with Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke on it, I had to pick it up.

My friend's record shop bought the third big CD collection he's purchased in the last 4-5 weeks yesterday. So today I found myself helping him sort out all the material.

I ended up grabbing the following for myself:

Billy Idol - Kings & Queens of the Underground (unopened)
Heart - Red Velvet Car
Heart - Jupiter's Darling
Ann Wilson - Fierce Bliss
Rod Stewart - Camouflage
Suzy Boguss - Something Up My Sleeve
Genesis - Invisible Touch
Melissa Etheridge - Greatest Hits - The Road Less Traveled
Rick Springfield - Original Album Classics (box set with five albums)

I got a few more CDs from my friend's record shop.

Oddly, not many of the rock music variety.

I got two CDs from Red Horse Records:

Red Horse - S/T (featuring Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka and Lucy Kaplansky)
Eliza Gilkyson - Roses at the End of Time

I found a CD copy of the Hindu Love Gods album after only finding a cassette copy of it just a few weeks ago.

Then I got a couple of music CDs centered on the music of a certain country:

The Rough Guide to Irish Folk
Greece - Anthology of Greek Music

Then a couple of blues CDs.

The first was a 2-disc set entitled You've Got to Give Me Some of It: 55 Risque Blues and R&B classics 1928 - 1954
The second was a 5-disc set entitled The Blues - 100 Hits

Closer to the usual music I get are these two albums:

Joe Bonamassa - Driving Towards the Daylight
Honeymoon Suite - Wake Me Up When the Sun Goes Down (brand new & unopened)

I bought a Physical Graffiti CD about 5 years ago to replace the one I had that magically disappeared from my collection. And when I say magically, I mean from a zippered 60-CD case that had been sitting in one of our closets for at least 5 years prior to my attempt to find it. I know my wife didn't take it 'cause she don't like Led Zeppelin. So one of our two dogs and the cat were the only remaining potential culprits.
